BRTC's mission is to bring useful information to our class participants in an informative yet fun learning environment. Topics are chosen to be relevant and useful. Through the use of classroom time, special speakers, and real world simulations, we learn to apply the principles in a way that makes sense.

DOL Rate Seminar w/ Lunch |

We will have a Paychex representative to share with us the tools that Paychex uses when dealing with the Department of Labor. Topics include: how to negotiate with the DOL for a lower rate, when the "buy down" rate option makes sense, how to protect yourself when hiring a new employee and many more. The cost is $15 which basically covers lunch.

QuickBooks® Basic 101 |

We cover invoicing, check writing, reconciling, entering credit cards and other aspects of the program as time allows. You will need to bring your own version of QuickBooks® 2007 version or higher on your laptop. We will cover all versions simultaneously. The class setting will provide the opportunity to create your own data file which you take with you and use on your own. Class starts at 1pm on Thursdays

We cover budgeting, balance a checkbooks, using credit cards, saving for a big purchase and basic tax items, but all from the perspective of two individuals working together. As opposites generally attract, we learn how to make our money differences work for us instead of creating conflict. While this class name indicates a newlywed status, all married couples are welcome. Class starts at 3pm on Saturdays
